Speed Dating Social is a matchmaking singles events company that started in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 2020 by Darcy Todd with a range of Meetups and singles events that are posted on Eventbrite. Having hosted over 787 events, our team has introduced over 37,423 singles at the best bars in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Event Schedule
6:30 pm – Attendees arrive
Upon arrival, hosts check tickets, write your name cards and assign you a starting table. It’s also time to scan the QR Code and sign into our matching platform so you can select your matches. Just chill with some ice breaker games and mingle and grab a drink at bar until it starts.
7:00 pm – Speed dating starts
Take a seat at the table you’ve been assigned, hosts will then rotate the gentlemen every 5 minutes.
8:00 pm – Half time intermission
After around eight mini dates, we have a 10 minute intermission break. Its a chance to grab a drink or canopies’, mingle and use the rest rooms.
9:00 pm – Event finishes
After 2 hours we finish the structured speed dating portion of the night. This is a great time to keep chatting to anyone you felt a connection with and enjoy extra mingle time at the bar.

As mentioned in the description, there’s a 2 year tolerance either side of the age bracket. That’s +/- 2 years is okay
Of course, we always book equal 50:50 ratios. That’s why there’s a limited amount of both Male/Female tickets

There’s no refunds if it’s within 30 days of an event
Yes, if you can’t make it you can transfer your ticket to a friend, providing they are the same gender and age range that you booked for.
On the night simply scan into our QR Code to access our Matching App 4.0. From there just enter that nights Event Code, your starting table number, mobile number, name and email. From there you’ll be texted and emailed a joining link. Click that link – you’ll then be able to see/ select anyone you like directly though your phone.
All matches are sent at 8am the following day. Even if you don’t select someone, you’ll still receive their contact their details if they selected you
